The first PADI professional level.

Become a PADI Divemaster in Hurghada

The PADI Divemaster is the first professional level in diving, the gateway to a career as a guide, instructor assistant, or diving professional. Unlike recreational training, this programme turns you from a certified diver into a true professional: supervising divers, assisting with training, managing a group at sea. It is a complete immersion over several weeks, supervised, in the heart of the Red Sea.

€1,300 / person

The PADI Divemaster course is the first step to turning your passion into a real profession. This comprehensive program prepares you to supervise divers, assist instructors, and become a globally recognized professional.

Program outline – 4 to 6 weeks

The pace and duration adapt to your starting experience and availability. In practice, the program unfolds in three stages.

Theory and core skills

You revisit every domain of diving knowledge — physics, physiology, equipment, planning, environment — but at a professional level, the level expected of a guide responsible for other divers.

Practice and demonstration

You repeat Open Water skills up to a demonstration level, the level a future student needs to see to learn properly. A divemaster doesn't just have good reflexes: they demonstrate the correct technique clearly, every single time.

Real-world supervision

You accompany real trips, assist in real training sessions, and brief real divers, under the constant supervision of an instructor. This is where theory becomes a profession.

Frequently asked questions

I don't have 40 dives yet, can I still start?

Yes. We can help you accumulate the missing dives before the official start of the program, at an extra cost on top of the base price.

I am Rescue Diver certified but my EFR is over 24 months old, what do I do?

You just need to retake the EFR with us before starting — it's a short course that can be completed in one day.

Is the Divemaster meant to become an instructor later?

That's exactly the step it leads to. Divemaster is the mandatory prerequisite to become an Assistant Instructor and then a PADI Instructor (OWSI). Many of our candidates continue directly.

How long do I need to stay in Hurghada for this program?

Generally between 4 and 6 weeks full-time, but we can adjust the pace if you need a more spread-out schedule. Tell us your availability and we will build a realistic calendar.
