The Hurghada region is home to several fascinating wrecks, accessible directly from our home port. The PADI Wreck Diver specialty teaches you how to explore them safely: how to map a wreck, use a penetration line, and cautiously enter the natural light zone. This is not just a simple wreck dive; it is true training in the techniques and reflexes required by this specific environment.

The PADI Wreck Diver course opens the doors to the wrecks of the Red Sea. You will learn to identify the specific hazards of wrecks (unstable structures, lines, nets, reduced visibility), the specialized equipment used (light, line, reel), and the safety rules for any penetration.
You will explore the exterior of the wreck, learn to assess its structure, and create a simple map of the site: dimensions, points of interest, possible entrances and exits.
You will practice deploying and recovering a penetration line, then carry out a penetration limited to the natural light zone, under the constant supervision of your instructor.
Important to know. This specialty teaches limited penetration, within the area where daylight remains visible. Full exploration of the interior of a wreck, beyond this zone, falls under technical diving and requires additional specialized training.
[To be completed — the specific wrecks in the Hurghada region that we dive.]
Yes, but in a supervised manner and limited to the natural light zone. Full interior exploration falls under technical diving, a further step for divers who want to go further.
Not with the right training. That's exactly what this course is for: learning to recognize the risks (unstable structures, nets, visibility) and manage them with the right tools and reflexes.
